Maintenance and operation of silent diesel generators
Author:
Quiet diesel generators are widely used in various situations, such as commercial, industrial, agricultural, and residential backup power sources, as well as general power equipment. Regular maintenance and servicing are necessary to ensure the normal operation of quiet diesel generators and extend their service life.
Regular replacement of oil and oil filters: Oil is the lubricant necessary for the normal operation of the engine; outdated oil can lead to increased engine wear. Therefore, it is recommended to regularly replace oils and oil filters at intervals specified by the manufacturer.
Clean the air filter: Cleaning the air filter is as important as replacing it; it prevents dust and impurities from entering the engine and ensures normal engine operation. Regularly check the condition of the air filters and clean or replace them in a timely manner.
Periodically check the battery: Maintain the electrolyte level of the battery within the required range and ensure that the battery terminals are securely connected to avoid circuit failure.
Check the cooling system: Regularly check the generator's cooling system to ensure that the water level in the reservoir is sufficient to prevent engine overheating due to lack of water.
Pay attention to fuel quality: Choose high-quality diesel fuel and ensure that there is no water or impurities in the tank to avoid engine damage.
Periodically check the transmission system: including the belt, bearing, and other drive parts, to ensure that they are working normally and are lubricated in a timely manner.
Regularly check the external cleanliness of the engine: Keep the environment around the engine clean, preventing dust and debris from entering the housing and affecting the normal operation of the engine.
